Privacy Policy

How Cryptonakta handles your data.

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cryptonakta (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects when you visit cryptonakta.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Cryptonakta is an independent site operated by an individual publishing under the pen name Nakta, based in the Republic of Korea. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@cryptonakta.com. We are the “data controller” for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

  • Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you use, and the contents of your message.
  • Usage and device data (analytics). Like most websites, we collect anonymous or pseudonymous data about how the site is used — pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (usually country/region), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. This is collected through Google Analytics (via the Google Site Kit plugin) using cookies and similar technologies.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability. IP addresses may be shortened or anonymized by our analytics.

We do not ask for or store sensitive financial information such as your exchange passwords, private keys, or seed phrases. Never send these to us or anyone else.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Functional cookies — for example, a small cookie that remembers your language choice so we don’t redirect you again.
  • Advertising cookies — if and when we display ads, advertising partners may set cookies to measure and serve ads. We will update this policy before doing so.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

4. Why we use your data (legal bases)

  • To run and improve the site — based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our content.
  • To reply to you — when you contact us, to handle your message.
  • With your consent — where required (for example, for analytics or advertising cookies in the European Economic Area and the UK), we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, and some links take you to third parties with their own policies:

  • Google (Google Analytics / Site Kit) — website analytics. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Our hosting provider — stores and serves the website.
  • Affiliate partners (e.g., exchanges). When you click an affiliate link and visit a partner’s site, that partner sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. We may receive anonymous or aggregate data about referrals (for example, that a sign-up occurred), but not your identity or account details.
  • Advertising partners — if we display ads in the future, as described above.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (such as Google) may process data on servers outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area or Korea. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are intended to apply.

7. How long we keep data

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and for our records. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings. We do not keep personal data longer than necessary.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email contact@cryptonakta.com.

  • EEA/UK visitors (GDPR): you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • Korea (PIPA) and other regions: you have rights to access and correct or delete your information under applicable local law.

9. Children

Cryptonakta is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age set by your local law (for example, 16 in much of the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle, but no website or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or the law changes. The “last updated” date below shows the current version; significant changes will be reflected here.

12. Contact

For any privacy question or request, email contact@cryptonakta.com. See also our About and Disclaimer pages.
